Terms and Conditions

[Last Updated: February 16, 2026] These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Konfirm mobile application and related services (the "Service") provided by Konfirm ("Konfirm," "we," "our," or "us").

  1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age to use Konfirm.

By registering, you represent and warrant that:

  • All information you provide is accurate

  • You are legally permitted to send and receive money in your jurisdiction

  • You are using Konfirm for lawful purposes only

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements.

  1. Nature of the Service

Konfirm is a peer-to-peer payment confirmation platform.

Konfirm allows two users to:

  • Agree to a payment between themselves

  • Confirm the payment

  • Release funds only after both parties approve

Konfirm does not act as a bank and does not hold funds directly. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe.

Konfirm does not provide loans, credit, or financial advice.

  1. Double-Confirmation Payments

A payment on Konfirm is only completed when both participants confirm the transaction.

Important:

  • If both users confirm a payment, the transaction becomes final.

  • Konfirm cannot reverse a transaction once both parties approve.

  • You are responsible for confirming the correct recipient before approving.

Konfirm is designed to reduce payment mistakes or mishaps amongst users, but it cannot prevent intentional misuse by users.

  1. User Responsibility

You agree:

  • Not to send money to strangers you do not trust

  • Not to use Konfirm for illegal activity

  • Not to impersonate another person

  • Not to attempt fraud, chargebacks, or payment abuse

You are solely responsible for:

  • The payments you approve

  • The users you transact with

  • Verifying the recipient before confirming

  1. Fees

Creating an account and sending or receiving payments through Konfirm is free.

Konfirm does not charge a fee for standard confirmed payments between users.

However, optional services may include fees. These may include:

  • Instant withdrawals (expedited transfers to a debit card or external account)

  • Other optional premium payout features that may be introduced in the future

Any applicable fee will always be clearly displayed to you in the app before you confirm the withdrawal.

Standard Withdrawals to a linked bank account may take several business days and are typically provided at no cost.

Payment processing networks or financial institutions (such as your bank or card issuer) may independently charge their own fees. Konfirm does not these external charges.

  1. Payments & Withdrawals

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.

Konfirm does not store:

  • Debit card numbers

  • Bank account numbers

Withdrawals:

  • May require identity verification

  • May take several business days

  • May be delayed for fraud review or compliance

Konfirm is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment networks.

  1. Disputes Between Users

Konfirm does not arbitrate personal disputes.

If both users confirm a payment:

  • The transaction is considered authorized

  • Funds will not be returned by Konfirm

Konfirm is not responsible for:

  • Broken agreements

  • Personal wages

  • Verbal promises

  • Misunderstanding between users

  1. Prohibited Activities

You may not use Konfirm for:

  • Gambling or sportsbook activity

  • Money laundering

  • Fraudulent payments

  • Harassment or coercion

  • Illegal transactions

  • Selling illegal goods or services

Accounts may be suspended or terminated without notice for violations.

  1. Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you:

  • Violated these Terms

  • Attempted fraud

  • Used stolen payment methods

  • Created risk to other users

Funds may be held if required for investigation or legal compliance.

  1. . Limitation of Liability

Konfirm provides the Service "as is."

We are not liable for:

  • User-to-user disputes

  • Loss of funds due to user error

  • Sending money to the wrong person

  • Technical interruptions

  • Third-party failures

Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

  1. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
